Hide Data in Media Files

Hiding of data file in media file or any other is called Steganography. The art and science of hiding information by embedding messages within other, seemingly harmless messages. Steganography works by replacing bits of useless or unused data in regular computer files (such as graphics, sound, text, HTML, or even floppy disks) with bits of different, invisible information. This hidden information can be plain text, cipher text, or even images.

Special software is needed for steganography, and there are freeware versions available.
One tool which is use for steganography is OPEN PUFF.
OpenPuff or Puff, is a freeware steganography tool for Microsoft Windows created by Cosimo Oliboni and still maintained as independent software.
Download OpenPuff from below link:

After downloading OpenPuff, launch it and click the Hide button to start hiding data in a file. You (or someone else) can use the Unhide button to extract hidden data from a file if you have the required information. This allows you to share media files with someone or just store your own secret data in a place no one would think to look.

I think this is a useful software to secure the data.
